ShadoWind BIO

Erin aka Shadowind is a digital & traditional artist working out of northern Indiana, specializing in fantasy and wildlife art and illustration. She started her Zazzle store back around 2009 while attending collage, and has been expanding it ever since.

Erin Graduated with honors with a Bachelor's in Computer Arts & Animation from the University of Saint Francis. Using a variety of mediums from watercolor, to markers, to digital painting she is inspired by the natural world around her and strives to create works which will captivate and inspire others.

From trees to tigers her whimsical works focus on the life we share this planet with and the magic she sees within them. The desire to express this connection, respect, and beauty stems from her own lifelong connection with all things furred, feathered, and scaled.

Starting young with family pets from then moving on to become a teen volunteer at the local zoo, and later a barn hand at a local horse farm for around the next ten years.

Animals have always been a huge part of her life, teaching and supporting her along the way. She aspires to some day be able to support herself fully on her artistic skills and perhaps have a nice little Eco-friendly self sustaining home for herself someday.
